My daily life consists of being a wife, Mommy, and having tons of crazy fun with our blessings. In the evenings and on Saturdays is when I like to book sessions and devote time to my photography business.
I am a Mom. I have been through the newborn stage four times and I know it isn't easy! I adore new babies and hold precious the time before and after birth. I understand that a newborn session may go long due to a leaky diaper or a feeding that doesn't go as planned. That's okay and I want to be sensitive to your needs. I really enjoy capturing this tender moment in time.
I have a bachelor's degree in elementary education. I have always loved children and every job I've ever had has involved children. It's a good thing because I am with them 24/7. This has really enhanced photo sessions that I've had with children and families. It adds so much to a child's experience when someone will get on their level and pay attention to them. I also like to let them play during sessions so we get a glimpse into who they really are.
I am constantly learning about photography and investing in my business. When I started in 2009, I had to work with what I had. As my business grew, so did my "stash". I am now the proud owner of a wonderful camera, the best editing software a girl could dream of, and lighting equipment that makes any lighting situation into a studio. Good equipment doesn't automatically make a good photographer, but my desire is that as I produce images for you, that this equipment will help me produce the highest quality image that you could hope for.
I am a Christian, a wife, a Mom, a daughter, a friend, a photographer. I guess what drives my love for photography are the things I just listed. I love the Lord and He is the reason for all that I do. He brings me joy and peace because of His gift in Christ. I have the most loving husband I could have ever asked for. My husband, parents, and now my kids are such an encouragement to me in my job. They are always helping me live my dreams in respect to photography.
